If a really smart person says something that no one else understands are they really that smart?
The answer is no.
Nerds have a lot of knowledge to share. Take it from an accountant who works in the software industry. There are a lot of nerds out there with a ton of valuable information.
The problem is that we nerds have a tough time sharing our wisdom with others. Most people just don't understand what we're talking about most of the time. I mean, who else but another accountant can see the fallacy in wasting a Section 179 deduction on 3 yr property?
Hence the mission of this website. We want to help accountants and other nerdy numbers-types improve their communication skills so they can share their knowledge. Improve the world. And maximize their ability to form lasting like-kind exchanges.
Do not confuse good communication skills with good animation. Converting that financial statement from a printed report to 40 PowerPoint slides does nothing to improve the meaning or value of the information. Boring information on paper equals boring information on slides.
