Some of the presenters I would love to interview for my book*:
Rebecca Ryan, Next Generation Consulting (done) - one of the hippest, smartest, and nicest presenters I have ever seen on the main stage. She's earned her "human sparkplug" designation.
Scott Adams, Dilbert creator - the first phenomenal keynote presenter I saw on a big stage. He was at a PMI (Project Management Institute) conference that must have been in the late 80's. He's also located near me and owns a restaurant in Pleasanton, CA so I want to talk to him in person. (If I'm gonna dream, I might as well dream big.)
Patrick Lenceoni, The Table Group (done) - author, consultant, and speaker, Patrick's books have changed the world of business for the better. Every one of his books makes me want to tweet every other line.
Don McMillan - comedian and author of my favorite PowerPoint video which is on my homepage.
Garr Reynolds, Presentation Zen- makes me green with envy. He is polished and smart and has that "zen" thing going on.
Seth Godin - the first great book this accountant read on marketing : Purple Cow. Changed my view of everything.
Bill Gates - you know who he is. He's a nerd and he's doing great things. Who doesn't want to talk to him?
Simon Sinek - His TED video started a whole bunch of CPAs down an entirely new path. He's got a great style of presenting - and didn't even draw perfect circles.
Ronald J. Baker, CPA (done) - guru of value pricing, hater of timesheets, author of five books including Professional’s Guide to Value Pricing, The Firm of the Future, and Implementing Value Pricing: A Radical Business Model for Professional Firms.
Dana (Rick) Richardson- an incredible, polished, techy, amazing presenter who also happens to be a really nice man. He knows how to make gadgets sing.
*Details of my quest are here.
